Welcome to Wild Brew Coffee Co, where passion meets perfection in every cup. Born out of a love for the wild and a deep appreciation for the art of coffee, our journey began with a simple mission – to bring the untamed essence of nature into your daily brew. At Wild Brew, we source only the finest, ethically grown beans from remote corners of the world, ensuring each sip tells a story of authenticity and sustainability. Our commitment to quality extends beyond the bean, as we meticulously roast and craft each batch to capture the wild, bold flavors that define our unique blends. MY ROLE

I needed to create a logo and branding system that would not only match the vibe of the shop, but that could easily be turned into different versions for the coffee bean sets. Once the logo was finalized, I went about creating the other design elements to go on the packaging, keeping with a woodland theme to match the brand and the product. Finally I designed a set of social media templates that could be used across all platforms.

PROBLEM

As a new coffee shop, Wild Brew needed a unique logo and brand that would set it apart from the crowd. The challenge lies in creating a cohesive design strategy that can seamlessly translate across various touchpoints, from brand identity to packaging to online presence. The brand is seeking a design solution that encapsulates the adventurous spirit of their coffee and also resonates with the contemporary and diverse audience they aim to attract. The goal is to craft a brand identity that not only stands out in a competitive market but also tells the story of Wild Brew’s commitment to exceptional coffee and the untamed journey it represents.

Crafting a series of sub-brands for Wild Brew’s products involves a meticulous exploration of flavor profiles which have been named after woodland animals, each deserving a unique visual identity. From the robust and earthy Night Owl to the vibrant and lively notes of the Golden Stag, the design challenge is to visually communicate the distinct personality of each sub-brand while maintaining an overarching cohesion that reflects the adventurous spirit of Wild Brew Coffee Co.

Wild Brew Coffee Co wanted to emphasize a modern, sleek aesthetic that showcases their diverse range of blends and sub-brands. It needed to incorporate earthy tones and dynamic visuals of the brand, inviting users into an immersive online experience. Additionally, the website needed to prioritize user-friendly navigation to effortlessly guide customers through the collection.

WEBSITE

Wild Brew wanted the website to focus mainly on their product sales while still being easily accessible customers who were interested in learning more about the brick and mortar shop. I found the best way to do this was to highlight the main shop information (location, menu, and hours) with a small info section right below the hero image which would let customers know their was a shop they could visit. After that the homepage focused on the products to help boost online sales.

PACKAGING DESIGN

Designing the packaging for Wild Brew’s sub-brands required a thoughtful integration of the distinct visual identities to evoke a cohesive yet diverse product packaging identity. The packaging creates a standout shelf presence that not only reflects the unique characteristics of each blend but also communicates the overarching story of Wild Brew Coffee Co.
